Cursed Cricket-Thingie

Finished! Here is the tale :




Harold Haingey, aka "Balderdash", has been searching for an odd cursed broach, the "Golden Cricket of Criminy", for several days now. He experiences a mild throbbing as he flies near a storage shed in a yard on the outskirts of Bridgetsville. "Hmmm... I think that I've just located the danged thing, at last!" The odd little supervillain melts a small hole in the side of the shed and enters in his flying bubble at tiny insect size. "Ha! I can remain inconspicuous at this size. I'll be in and out before anybody can see me!"

Inside the house, a distraught housewife named Helen Haxelrod relates a sad story to the Wasp and one of the Polecat's employees at her antique store, Audrey Jenkins.

"I don't know why I have had such misfortune in the last few weeks. The trouble started when I found this cricket-shaped broach. I put it away from the house, in a storage shed at the far end of the yard. I know that I sound crazy, but I eventually realized that it gave off this evil vibe. You heroines deal with this kind of thing all the time, don't you? You don't think I'm insane, do you?"

Audrey replies, "Certainly not! I detect a major source of eldritch power nearby. If this really is the 'Golden Cricket of Criminy', as I suspect, then you definitely did the right thing when you called us about the cursed broach..."


BOOM!

"Hey, what was that?" The Wasp says. "Some kind of explosion..."

Helen looks out the window. "My shed! It is completely destroyed! Good Lord!"

"Hey! That's Harold Haingey sprawled out on the yard. Why, that little creep!" Audrey is extremely unhappy with the nerdish little fellow for kidnapping her a few weeks back. She runs out the door and blasts the cretin with a magical bolt!

"AAARRRGGGHHH!!"

"You fiend! What are you doing here? You're after the 'Golden Cricket of Criminy', aren't you? Well, we shall stop you... OOOFFF!!"

Harold recovers quickly, transforms back into his Balderdash persona, and strikes out at the sexy blonde girl with his arm tentacle. "Hey, it isn't enough that the cursed little thing has a 'protective whammy' built into it, and it has a kick like a country mule; I have to be bothered by a silly blonde witch, as well. Well, that blast took me by surprise, little Miss Audrey. But I'm not going to be defeated by the likes of you!"

Balderdash strikes the sexy, miniskirted witch again with his massive arm tentacle. The blow sends her flying back several feet, and she strikes her head on a tree trunk. WHUK! Audrey falls to the ground, totally unconscious.

"Wow, now that's a tiny little yellow minidress.. such lovely long legs... Uh, but I digress! Back to business for now... Okay, now I can neutralize the spell around the brooch and... UUUHHH!!!"

"Not so fast, you monster! I'll defeat you with my Wasp's Stings!"

"OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW!"

Balderdash is just barely able to withstand the stinging barrage, but eventually manages to hit the Wasp with a blast from his antennae-thingies. ZAP! "AAAAAIIIIIEEEEE!!!"

Our gorgeous, scantily-clad heroine goes into convulsions and rips out of her costume. The tiny strips covering her nipples shatter, exposing her perfectly-formed breasts. Balderdash fires another blast -- ZAP! -- and Janet takes another considerable impact. The beautiful brunette is knocked back about thirty feet and loses control over her size. WHUMP! She impacts the ground with a sickening thud and does not move.

Balderdash sees that the Wasp is sprawled helplessly on the ground. He also sees the housewife, Helen Haxelrod, is transfixed in horror at the sight of him. "Okay, pretty lady, I don't mean you any harm. I just want the Cricket!"

"Uh... You can have it! Take it away, please. I don't want that thing near me. God, you're scary-looking. Or are you just weird and odd? No, not so horribly frightening, I guess. Kind of nerdy / scary /silly. God, I'm babbling. Hey, just please just go away. You make me nervous!"

"Oh, I'll be leaving. But here is a few hundred dollars for your trouble!" Several hundred-dollar bills manifest at Helen's feet.

As this is happening, the Wasp recovers, and starts to get to her feet. Unfortunately, Balderdash sees the groggy heroine, and extends his arm-tentacle around her bodacious body. "Here, Waspie, I have a 'shock' just for you!"

"AAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEE!!! AAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEE!!! AAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!"

Helen is horrified at the sight, as poor Janet convulses in exquisite agony within the powerful stinging coils. "Please stop it! You're killing her!"

"Oh no, I don't kill people, my dear. The Wasp -- and little Miss Audrey Jenkins, for that matter -- will be out cold for a very long time once I finish with her, though..."

Balderdash zooms in close to the sexy, faltering crimefighter and gives her a KO blast. "OOOHHH!" Janet passes out in the villain's embrace.

"Okay, now for the sexy blonde witch girl." Balderdash manifests a field of eldritch energy that encompasses both unconscious beauties. They now float helplessly a few feet off the ground.

"I have the cursed brooch, the Wasp, and the witch. And you have your money, my dear Miss Helen Haxelrod. Have a lovely evening!"

POOF! The villain and his sexy hostages disappear in a flash of light. The attractive, auburn-haired housewife is quite perplexed. "Oh dear, I hope that they will be alright. That Balderdash fellow sure is odd-looking, but he also came across as a bit on the 'nerdy' side, as well. And he was kind of polite to me, in an odd sort of way. I mean, he paid for the damages! And now, I don't have to deal with that cursed cricket-thingie! Still, I had better call Panther Girl's office, to report what has happened to Miss Van Dyne and Miss Jenkins..."

I wonder what the bizarre little villain plans to do with his captives? Hmmm... Could be anything!
