Panther Girl must deal with a barrage of magical spheres when she takes on a group of enthusiastic young occultists who have recently defeated and captured Sparrowhawk and the Wasp. Though Monica manages to shatter many of the attacking spheres with punches and kicks, it only takes one to get past her defenses. The sphere delivers a hefty impact as it crashes into our heroine's head; and then it swings back around, and blasts the sexy, scantily-clad crimefighter into unconsciousness! Yes, unfortunately, for poor Panther Girl, "It only takes one..."

No doubt she spends hours in front of the mirror every morning fixing herself up, primping, etc making sure she looks just right from head to toe. She does a good job too. I've never seen her when she didn't look good out cold.

Monica does like to look good, just in case she winds up in situations like this. She may get KOed in a fight, but there's still no excuse for not looking your best!

Sometimes women can't rescue each other. I used to read how other enterprising and bold heroines invited Wasp to join them, then they admitted that they still needed the men.

Well, my heroines do end up winning the day eventually, but not after quite a number of failed attempts, so I can watch them repeatedly succumb to knockouts! (I'm such a cad...)
