I first featured these odd critters, the Bejabberdeens, in January 2014 :
Bobbi Morse has been waylaid by Lord Apteryx, who has gained control over a couple of the nonsensical creatures. The fiend watches with glee as his two minions batter the beautiful blonde S.H.I.E.L.D. agent into insensibility. WHAP! THUK! KWOP!
"UUUHHH!!" Bobbi collapses to the museum floor -- WHUMP!
"Aw, good job, oh Bejabberdeens! Now we can loot the temple of Tr'Kempidil."
The thieves take their time gathering precious artifacts. Within a half-hour, Bobbi manages to recover. "Uuuuuuhhhhhh... G-gotta clear my head... S-stop these freaks, somehow..." The gorgeous adventurer shakes the cobwebs from her mind and launches an attack. Manifesting her blaster, she shoots the Bejabberdeens with powerful bursts of energy. ZAP! ZAP!
"WHEET WHEET WHEET! WHEET WHEET WHEET!" The entities cry out in pain as they back away. "Good, they are retreating. Now for Lord Apteryx!" WHOK! Bobbi lashes out with a kick, and knocks the cloaked villain down. However, as soon as he hits the floor, Apteryx counterattacks with a blast from his battle-staff. ZZZATTT!!
"AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!" Bobbi is struck, and screams in agony.
"Get her, my pets, while she is stunned! Quickly!"
The Bejabberdeens respond, and swoop over to the stricken heroine.
KRAK! POW! THUD! WHAM! THUK! SPTOK! The weird critters attack the curvaceous, near-naked adventurer.
"Uuuhhh... th-these things... h-hit p-pretty hard... g-getting weak... g-groggy... oooooohhhhhh...."
WHAK! KWUP! POW!
"OOOFFF!!! OOOHHH!!!" This last salvo of powerful blows succeeds in shattering our sexy heroine's consciousness. Bobbi's perfect, exposed body crumples back to the museum floor. THWUMP!
"Excellent work, my pets. Miss Morse is unconscious again. This time, I will perform a sleep-spell on our defeated beauty, to ensure that she will trouble us no more."
Lord Apteryx and his new-found allies certainly have our scantily-clad blonde crimefighter at a distinct disadvantage now. Whatever will they do with the helpless spy babe?
